I posted what he needed to do to change his email address, much more clearly also.

Also his email addresses is not so much of a issue in post now as the-edmeister removed parts of it as I would have censored them somewhat if not already done so.

Since you made a post this is easier.

Click on your bill127 on left side of your post. https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/user/465365

Now look to the right and you should see a Edit my profile link.
On the Edit Profile page you can click on the Change link beside email address.

Or Bill could just have done the change he wanted clicking on his personal icon, then on the right-hand column "Edit My Profile" and on the form click change next to email and keep the public box empty leaving it private as is current. And then edit his post to remove all information.

Thanks for all your help,It's nice to know there's so much help out there.

I couldn't find anyway to contact Firefox for help in changing my email address. After several attempts at trying to find my 'icon' and repeatedly being told that an email would be sent to my email address which was hacked sometime ago and has been permanently closed and as a result I am unable to access that account. I finally gave up and opened a new account. What that will entail I have yet to find out.

@Mikehattan What that will entail to change email address, I have yet to find out:

The only time you would need to contact an administrator is if you inadvertently used your email address as your username and need to change your username. Username is what makes you unique here, you can change your email address anytime you want.

I'll make the instructions a bit more clear for changing your email address: If you click on your Avatar at the left that indicates "You" the link will take you to your profile (link currently ends with your assigned user number) and you can update by clicking on "Edit my Profile on the right hand column". (continue at "Once in Edit").

If you click on the Avatar that shows your userid (your name) the link will end with "/edit" and you will be placed directly in edit of your profile.

Once in edit: To the immediate right of your old email address click on the "change" link, also make sure you did not checkmark the "make my email public" two lines down.

For those that need to change their userid, which would probably be because it shows the email address you would need to have an administrator change that for you so you would post as a new question to the contributors community forum https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forums/contributors

If you need to change your email address as well, do that yourself beforehand as described above this footnote.

Use a subject like "[admin help] username" so it will be noticed by an admin -- they already have your email so don't include that.

Because your userid is being changed you would receive your reply to your actual email address as opposed to private message (notifier of a private message is the tiny black box with a white number next to your inbox link in the upper right corner).

It would help if you indicated what you wanted for your username perhaps 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, so an administrator won't have to ask you what you want or have to have you make another choice if your choice is already taken and have to choose something else. Once changed all your previous postings would also change to your new userid. Do not include your email address in your posting as that is public just like this forum -- only an admin would have direct access to it.
