Is it possible to rename a tab?
Sometimes I visit different areas of the same site - Ancestry.co.uk is an example - and it would be useful if all the tabs didn't say "Family View". Differentiating between their names would be very useful.

No, sorry - it doesn't give me the chance to choose alternate names, just appears to pick a random choice from my favourites list. I don't have privacy problems, I just want to know what each currently identically-named tab is holding.
You can try Tab Mix Plus.
A simple bookmarklet like this helps if you need to do this occasionally.
