when I try to det up a sync account it says "email already in use"but I don't have an account
I went to "Tools", then "set up sync", then "create a new account". I try to type in my email address and it says "already in use". I dont have a sync account. How could it be "in use"

This specific link should help you. Just enter your email address and you would receive a message with the information required to reset completely your account so you can start fresh. There's no need to create a new email account. Just make sure that no one is using that account, because any data already stored in the system will be erased.
