The Menu bar on the top is hidden by default for Windows 7 and Vista. Here's how to show it:

View > Toolbars and CHECK the Menu Bar.

The bottom Status bar was removed in FF 4. You can use this add-on to get it back:

Why on earth would the status bar be removed? It's one of the biggest and best defenses against address spoofing.

There's a "floating bar" that appears when you mouse-over a hyperlink to show you the URL that hyperlink points to - similar to the old Statusbar display. That "floating bar" usually appears lower-left, but if there is information there the "floating bar" shifts to the lower-right corner. If you have the Add-on bar showing at the bottom of the browser window, the "floating bar" will show immediately above the Add-on bar.

Take a look that this extension.
