I have used Microsoft Live for the webmail before in Firefox on a Mac machine and it worked flawlessly.

However, I access it on Firefox on my Windows 7 64-bit system, and it fails to work. It does not allow me to click on anything on the screen.

No clue what the problem is exactly but I need this fixed so I can access my emails more conveniently

It did work when using Internet Explorer 9.

My Hotmail account seems to work normally in Fx4 on Win7x64, but we might have different options selected.

To see whether it might be a conflicting add-on, you could try a couple of diagnostic steps.

First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see Backing up your information.

Next, try starting Firefox in Firefox Safe Mode. Be careful not to "reset" anything permanently if you didn't back up.

Does that fix it? If not, try creating a new (blank) profile: Managing profiles.

Any luck there? If that works and it's not possible to identify a particular problem add-on or setting, you can move key settings like bookmarks from your dysfunctional profile to the new profile. See: Recovering important data from an old profile.

Hope this helps.

I was actually able to figure out that it was because of my Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011

To fix it, go to Settings -> Networks and when it has an option to check SSL Certificates, make sure you Uncheck it so it does not check them. Fixed it! Must have caused some hang ups

Thanks for the help, wouldn't have stumbled across that reasoning if you didn't get me going on the profile manager stuff.
