MLB Gameday site not loading

I'm not sure if this is a Firefox problem or MLB's problem. When I try to access MLB.com's scoreboard: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/scoreboard/index.jsp?tcid=nav_mlb_scoreboard

or Gameday (including Box and Wrap): http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2011_04_02_sdnmlb_slnmlb_1&mode=gameday

I get the page's header but then the rest of the page is blank. I asked MLB.com and they instructed me to clear my cache, which I did but that did not help. All of my plugins are up to date as of today (something else I checked), so I am not sure why I am having this problem. I have been able to use these in the past.

For me it was Adblock Plus preventing the page load.

I found by adding an exception (basically allowing) @@||mlb.mlb.com/shared/components/gameday/v6/js/* I could get the page to load. You could also just add an exception for mlb.com

That did the trick!! Thank you!

I don't have adblock plus in my plugins. Can it be something else?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Clearing the cache & cookies did good. Thanks!
