my Firefox 4 network settings are not saved when I restart Firefox.

In particular, when I set my proxy configuration to 'No Proxy', it keeps getting reverted back to 'Manual Proxy' with '127.0.0.1' as the proxy address and '63111' as the port.

I found this earlier via google, and I have tried most of them with no success. However, I'll just go through them once more, to be sure. thanks again

I have done what it tell's you to on the help page at least 3 time now and still I have to reset the proxy settings manualy everytime I restart Firefox, I am running Vista. Please help or I may give up using this until the problem has been fixed or a new version comes out again.

This issue can also be caused by an extension.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
