Do you have the FoxTab add-on, you appear to be describing a bug that some users of FoxTab have reported.

If you do not have that add-on, use the procedure in the following link to identify what add-on is causing this - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
