When I try to download Firfox to my Mac G4 running OS X 10.3.9 I receive the message 'Verification Failed' - why is this? What can I do?

I recently installed OS X on my old Mac G4, and having enjoyed Firefox on my intel equipped Mac I decided to install it on the G4, but as the Firefox downlaod came to an end I received the message 'Verification Failed'. How do I procede?

The last version of Firefox that works on OS X 10.3.9 is Firefox 2.0.0.20 available from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/mac/en-US/
