It is easy to add a URL to a bookmark/favourite so that you may find it easily see bookmarks and Location bar search

If on the other-hand you mean you have a new website and you want others to be able to find it, then that relates more to Search Engines.

I looked at the suggested site, but it does not appear to have the details that would allow me to have my URL added to the Fireox search engine. Does Firefox have a web page to facilitate this?

There is not really any such thing as a "Firefox search engine." Firefox is a Browser

Have a look while you are on these pages with Firefox open, click the down arrow by the search bar, that will allow you to add the Firefox search help to the list of search engines, but that is for searching the Firefox help related information. Look at:

By default your location bar search information and results are coming from Google, there is no Firefox database to enter your URL on, other than the users profile, database within your own computer, relating to bookmarks and history etc.
