Firefox exits full-screen mode randomly for no apparent reason.

Regardless of the website I am on, whenever I am watching a video in full-screen mode, it will randomly exit out of fullscreen and I have to change it back to fullscreen constantly.

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thank you so much cor-el! It was the theme I was using! I would never have thought the theme. I was disabling and deleting extensions like crazy. Thank you so much!
