The "Downloading The latest applications" bar will not disappear

I've recently reinstalled Firefox two days ago, and the bar that says "Downloading the latest applications" will not go away. It has been there for a while and I don't know if it is a problem or if it is just downloading that slowly.

The "Downloading the latest applications" problem can be caused by the MSN® Toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins)
