In other apps, I have good text contrast, nice sharp blacks on the white page. But in Firefox, the text looks gray on white, and is very hard to read. I cannot find a way to adjust this in Firefox options.

Firefox 3.6.8, Win7.

There are a lot of websites that use a gray color, including this forum.

Does it help if you disable the website colors?

Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors: Colors > [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
