Why do Flash movies only play at certain sites?

For some reason, flash movies won't play at certain sites. They work fine at YouTube. But, at places like MLB.com and NFL.com, nothing happens. My system specs are:

HP Pavilion dv7 8.0GB Memory Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Firefox 3.6.8 Flash Player 10.1 Kaspersky Internet Security

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

Cor-el,

I disabled all extensions and reverted to the default theme. MLB sites still don't play flash videos. Yet, Youtube.com plays videos just fine.

Make sure that your security software (Kaspersky) isn't blocking that Flash.

If it works on one site then Flash should work there as well.

Cor-el,

I tried temporarily disabling the Kasp firewall. I'm still having a problem with flash content. It's odd that YouTube content plays with no problem.
