How do I remove the cursor on the page when browsing?

Posted

There is a cursor which flashes in the HTML in pages, in parts where it's not an input field, it's there for people with reading/accessability issues, but I don't know how to disable it? It causes major problems on, for example a long Facebook page, when you press an arrow key instead of scrolling the page it goes all the way to where the cursor is?

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== in the last few weeks, don't know why

That is called caret browsing. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Scrolling_with_arrow_keys_no_longer_works ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caret_navigation
