how do I remove previous name searches that popup during craigslist searches

I tried to remove the history from a specific site and that did not work. I don't want to keep seeing previous searches on craigslist every time I type the first letter in. Please help. Thank you, Randi Reiff

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

after I made the first name search

I tried doing what you suggested and I still get all the previous searches listed when I type in the first letter on the search bar on Craigslist. How do I remove the previous search items that show up on the search bar on Craigslist on your browser?? Thank you, Randi Reiff PS- is there a phone number I can call to have someone help me?
