Unable to use pull down menu or bookmark with the yellow star

The pull down menu in the address bar just blinks and then nothing. Same when you try to bookmark a page with the yellow star. Any pull down menu that I have tried to use on web sites are doing the same thing.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
