Despite following "help" instructions, Firefox won't save tabs upon close
Followed instructions in Support about adding .bak to two files to insure Firefox asks if I want to save the tabs I have open when closing. Still doesn't work consistently. Occasionally yes, most times no.

Try this knowledge base article: Configuring session restore
Thanks, Patryk. That would open the sessions I had open before after shutting the computer down. I'm hoping to get back to consistently being able to come back to the same sessions/tabs after only putting the computer to sleep.
Make sure that Firefox gets closed properly. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_hangs and Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix (Hang at exit)
Session restore works more reliable if you choose Tools > Options > General|Main > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
Thanks cor-el. But it's not hanging up, it's just giving me the warning about closing several tabs instead of asking me if I want to save the tabs for the next time I open it (after sleeping the computer). Firefox opens fine to all 15 tabs at initial opening as I have it set up now. It's when I close to sleep the computer for a while that the message is not reliable about saving tabs.
