Why do some websites (e.g. booking flights on British Airways) not work when using FF on a Mac?

I cannot complete a booking on this website. It works using Safari on a Mac or FF on a Windows computer, but using FF on a Mac does not work.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
