I'm trying to block certain sites my son has been using, which are using up too much of our internet. I need to know how to block these site so he can't get onto them, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to. I'm not talking about a filter, I need something more specific than that.

The power of addons comes to your rescue. There are various site-blocking addons available on addons.mozilla.org. Here is an example, but you can find more by searching.
