Sidebar To Be Discontinued?
Hi - Recently when I was on either my desktop or laptop I saw a notification that the sidebar would be going away. I can't seem to find any information on that now though. Will the sidebar still be going away soon? I for one would like to say that I enjoy that feature and would like to see it stay an option on desktops/laptops. If it does go away, how do we access bookmarks and synced tabs? Is there anything I need to do ahead of it possibly going away? Thanks in advance for your help!

niagara94, go to Tools menu / Settings then search in the edit field for "Show sidebar" and enable it.
I believe that it has the panels that you refer too, although admittedly I haven't yet tested too greatly.

No, I don't think it would go away. It's unlikely.
niagara94, they are planning to replace the original version of the sidebar with a newer one. This could possibly be what the notification was referring to?

Thank you both for your replies. TechHorse the new sidebar was probably what I saw a notice about. Glad it will still be there. Do you know if the new sidebar will allow switching to see synced tabs and bookmarks? And how would I switch to try the new sidebar? Thanks again!
