Hi can you consider adding colour option (color) to Bookmarks and Folders. I've been using Firefox for so long my eyesight has deteriorated, so one of us has got really old :-)

i want to set randome images for background on about:home and about:newpage i dont want to use extensions because it adding "Extension (name)" text in searchbar, also it changes firefox image near "new tab" text. i tryed to make userContent.css in chrome folder in profiles but it can do only 1 image. i cant make JS working for randome images. How to make userChrome.js working or how to remove "Extension (name)" from searchbar?

Is there a way to hide bookmark names? I have several bookmarks that I keep in the bookmarks toolbar, and I can keep more links there only if I were able to hide bookmark names. I know what the link icon goes to, I just want the space without having to reduce the names of the bookmarks to a few letters. It would be even better if the name I set the bookmark to would appear when the mouse hovers over the link icon.

When you move your mouse to the top of the screen in F11 mode, the searchbar / tabs pop up. This is highly irritating behavior, since if I'm in F11, I specifically do not want to see them. I would like to disable this behaviour somehow, the few userChrome.css solutions that came up in googling either didn't do what I wanted or didn't do anything at all.

Hi everyone, I just set nice custom colors for the websites. Problem is, not every website looks good then, on some it gets messy. Is there and option somewhere to toggle it off, for particular websites, while still keeping the setting on for the rest of the internet?

Either recommend an extension/helper or do a redesign for laptops. I've seriously been looking at abandoning FF but I've been using it for so long now that the idea of learning a new one isn't cute. Three stacked banners at the top leave a pretty small area for what I want to read/do. Full screen is nice but then the bookmarks vanish. Please for the love of FSM do something about this before I'm forced to leave.

Firefox used to have my background colors, and on the latest update, my pull-down menu and tabs are robin's-egg blue. I can't figure out how to get my colors back, and I hate that color.

How the hell do I get back control over my colors?

In the previous version of Firefox, my Bookmarks folder was fixed in to the Sidebar so that when Firefox opened the Bookmarks were visible; how do I fix the problem?

Hi, I updated to Firefox 146.0 this past week and immediately noticed that the UI elements (scrollbars, sidebar, tooltips, etc) are once again in dark mode; the main websites window and the firefox settings remain in light mode (as set by my user preferences). I've been using browser.theme.toolbar-theme and browser.theme.content-theme to force light mode of all UI elements regardless of theme and as of this last update they have stopped working (editing them to any value of 0,1,2 does not make a noticeably change to the UI). What internal setting changed to stop firefox from using the browser.theme.(etc) settings and what can I edit to get them back? Thanks, Bre

As the title says , im really hoping for a small change that will happen from Firefox team or an addon , since i started using vertical tabs it was the best thing ever happen. however im really just hoping to have the option to increase the icon size of the tabs, i usually just have the icons showing without the name of the tab thing, but my only need is just to have the ability to increase the size of the icon tabs thats it

My Bookmarks Sidebar is now displaying with white lettering on a very light gray background, making it almost impossible to read. How can I change either the font color in the sidebar, or the background color?

12/10/25 am my yahoo bookmarks are opaque. they are still there just not visible until you click on them. Later 12/10/25 I rolled back firefox to earlier time and all looked correct again. today 12/11/25 opaque bookmarks again.
