Create your email. Before you send it, click on the menu option File | Attach | Files, or press Ctrl+Shift+A, or click on the Attach button in the upper-right corner of the compose window. Then navigate the file system to select your PDF. Or, you can drag 'n drop your PDF onto the Compose window. This works for any type of attachment.
