I'm not sure if I picked the right topic but am guessing my problem would fall under settings. The last few days I am having a problem replying to emails; when I go to click "send" to reply I get an error and it says failed to send. The only way to send a reply back is to compose a new email with my reply in it; send works every time if I do it that way. Hoping someone has the answer to why this is happening because I have no clue where to start.

Thank you for any tips, ~ Kathleen

Hi Kathleen

Are you trying to send email through a webpage in Firefox or are you using Thunderbird (our email software)?

I have no clue what Thunderbird is so I guess my answer is Firefox. When I worked, our IT guy told me to use Firefox and that is all I have on my laptop.

Paul...as an added note; I have no problem sending a new compose email...it is when I go to reply to an email I receive is when I get the error "failed to send."

Hi Kathleen

This may not be an issue with Firefox but could be something that your email service provider should be able to help you with.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply; I will look into that next. I had some issues and it was recommended to empty my cookies/cache. When I set up the laptop I made sure Firefox automatically deleted those each night when I shut it down. I was afraid I accidentally clicked something when I went in to make sure it was still set up that way and messed it up myself. Thanks again!
