Hello,

Google Drive today stopped loading properly. I keep getting the rotating circle or "working" in the lower left corner of the browser window. I can get it to load fine in Safari and Chrome.

Docs and sheets I already had open, I seem to be able to interact with and edit normally. But navigating the main file path in Google drive, opening folders, and opening files isn't working.

I would really prefer to not switch browsers, as my entire workflow is set up on Firefox.

Suggestions?

Thanks, Sarah

Hi Sarah

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox?

What security software (antivirus or VPN type software) do you have installed?

Hi Paul,

I do not have any add ons that I can see.

I see a filter is active, Cortex XDR.

Since yesterday, the docs I had open are no longer responding. And I see a consistent message in the lower left corner that says "waiting for www.gstatic.com". That's consistent in all the tabs I have open that are are trying to access Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Calendar.

Hi,

We're sorry to hear that the page doesn't work as expected. In order to look for the root cause, please follow the steps below and provide us with more information to troubleshoot your issue.

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon at the left of the address bar.
    • If ETP is enabled, try disabling it. Does the problem persist?
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache. Does it help?
  3. If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
  4. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does the problem persist?

Looking forward to your update!
