TB doesn't work with all audio formats. Best to use a file that is a 16-bit, 44 or 22 kHz wav file. Look in the Windows/Media subfolder.

I just noticed that none of my alerts are working now in Thunderbird. I've attached a screenshot showing that all options are enabled.
