Notifications prompted by Google calendar cannot be dismissed. Removing the task directly from Google calendar makes no difference. This problem began yesterday March 18.

Do you use gdata-provider ? It seems that the add-on stopped working with actuel Thunderbird versions. https://github.com/kewisch/gdata-provider/issues/888 A workaround might be to return to version 128.8.0
