Hi.

When I use multi-line descriptions in an event, they are all presented in one line as of version Thunderbird 91.2.0. This happens to calendars imported by Google. Description lines are correctly split by "\n", and the end of the message is correctly terminated by 0x0D, 0x0A.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Just recently when I get a reminder for a recurring task and I dismiss or snooze it I get a modification error and the calendar properties change to read only. The same happens when I try to edit or delete a recurring task either just this occurrence or all occurrences. This makes Thunderbird almost useless as every time I start it and every half hour after I get recurring task reminders I can't stop and have to reset the calendar properties. What is the solution?

Total failure of all Google calendars after 91.2.0 (32-bit) update and failed update to Win11. Win10 working well. An ICS Read Only calendar works. Calendar names and "enable" shown. Clicking on enable makes button disappear but no other actions. Calendars work on another machine that is not updated. No luck after clearing start up cache; restarting.

My version of Thunderbird was upgraded to Version 91 on 9-29-2021 or9-30-2021. When I started my computer on 9-30 all of my calendar information was gone. I tried to input my daily schedule and that went fine. I then restarted Thunderbird to see if that would work all the information I had just input was gone.

The upgrade was automatic per your recommendation but now all of my calendar records are gone. Do you have any suggestions as to how I might be able to restore them? Also the first day of the upgrade, 9-30, the "today's pane" was there but on 10-1 it was not.

thanks for any help

Hi, I'm using TB 91.2.0 (64-bit) on a Ubuntu machine. I noticed something strange regarding the "Convert To Event" function.

1. If I preview an email in the message pane and then I click "Convert To Event", it works as expected. 2. If I open an email in a new tab, and then click "Convert To Event", it also works as expected. 3. If I open an email in a new window, and then click "Convert To Event", then nothing happens.

I don't remember precisely since which version of TB did I start to observe this behavior, but I remember that v71 was also like this.

Any thoughts on what went wrong?

I received an update today, and noticed a couple of things. I recorded (2 min) a short video to show the issue. https://www.screencast.com/t/3j8sacLlvbB

Recap: 1) Red time highlight bar doesn't move at all, even as time progreses throughout the day. 2) Clicking a time/date in the calendar would "insert" new event. It no longer does, I have to right-click and select "New event" from the right click menu.
