Why can't I send emails

The Thunderbird program will not let me send emails. I keep getting this message: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Email rejected. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again.I've checked and changed my setting several time but nothing works. I get my emails to download with no problem. This started after the latest update. I'm running Windows 10 on my computer.

Maybe, if you post screenshots of your incoming server settings and of your SMTP server settings, someone may reply. that would provide some much-needed facts. Thank you.
