So to answer your questions No I have made Gmail smtp the default sender Other thing is as expected Gmail sends no problem, but my primary account won't Yes the settings you sent me are exactly what I have. One other thing is there not another way you can answer me except by cell phone?

You need to keep all responses in the original question otherwise the conversation gets broken https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1465127

Please do not create new questions when replying to a question you have already created. You can see all responses via your webmail account using a browser. You can see all repsonses via this Support Forum using a browser.

If you forget where question is then use your profile to see what it contains. It will list any questions you create. This is a link direct to your profile - so bookmark it for future reference: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/user/rayh6444/

re : I received your response on my cell phone and tried to respond

If you are reading an email because someone posted a comment in a question you created, then you cannot 'Reply'. When a comment gets posted - the server sends email - it's not a direct email from the person posting the comment.

You will find a link within the email content itself:

There's a button that says something like 'Mark it as solved' which you can use if the info solves the problem.

Next to that button is some text that says 'This doesn't solve my problem' - click on that text link and it should auto open the browser and Support forum and focus on your question.
