I am unable to complete the setup of Thunderbird on new computer. I keep getting yellow box which states the Username and password do not match. I know they do since I updated my password and I am able to log in on the web with no problem. Anyone know what the problems is. Thunderbird states their setups are easy to use but they do not work. I use att.yahoo for my email.

AT&T accounts require a secure mail key in place of the account password for apps like TB:

Problem has not been resolved. When I go to settings-privacy & security- saved passwords. Nothing has been saved and there is no way to edit or enter the new secure mail key.

Have you obtained the secure mail key from the ATT web site and entered it instead of your password when requested?
