In new Windows 11 I created a Folder named General. In there I placed non urgent received e. mails. Now I cannot find it. It used to be in the small window left hand side where folders such as Bin, Scams, Sent are. (Been through also Application Basics where my profile is.) Thanks for any help.

Sometime the folder pane cache looses the plot. Try force rebuilding it by deleting the file.

In Thunderbird's help menu select troubleshooting information. Click the open profile folder button. Close down Thunderbird completely.

In the file manager instance that open with the profile folder in it, locate the file foldertree.json and delete it. Restart Thunderbird.
