AVG keeps "protecting" me from services.disconnect.me

Please see the attached screenshot of a message AVG keeps popping up every few minutes. I've been using FF for a long time, but these messages only began now.

I don't recall installing it, but then again, I don't remember putting on my socks this morning. It's there and I've disabled it until AVG gets back to me. Thank you!

You probably have the Disconnect extension installed that AVG doesn't seem to like. You would have to contact AVG support about this.
