Running Thunderbird, with auto login to my ATT.NET account. I recently changed my ATT.NET PW (on ATT.NET) Thunderbird is still able to log on to my ATT.NET account and rec/send emails. I went into PW manager and removed the saved PW for my ATT email account.

Thunderbird is still able to log into ATT.NET

Chosen solution

I figured it out. ATT.NET uses secure email key. Even though I changed my ATT.NET login PW, it did not prevent Thunderbird from prompting me for a PW; since a previously established secure email key was set up.

I'll mark this as resolved.
