Firefox update on or about 3-7-24

more options

Right after a Firefox update on or about 3-8-24, when I click on the network icon on the Windows 11 system tray, the network icon in the Quick Access area is no longer there. But when you click on the network icon you see some soft of video player controls if you have a video open in Firefox, and the network icon is gone! I need to have the network icon restored. And BTW, when clicking the pencil icon to add something to the quick access, there is NO network icon to be added! Its not there, in fact, the "add" is greyed out, and the option for adding "network" no longer exists. I don't really like the video player controls that show up like in the photo, and would like to be able to make that go away.

I have figured out that it is NOT related to Firefox, I tried to delete this post but could not do so. Thanks for you inquiry, I have found that this is a Microsoft issue.

Hi Fred, could you reply and re-attach the screenshot or photo? Unfortunately it didn't come through the first time.
