Last update of Firefox has caused the PC to freeze. Tried all "so called" fixes to no avail. Other browsers ( Chrome & Edge) worked fine. Tried uninstall and re-install Firefox with same results. Have had to restore the PC to the earlier version where there is no problems. Now working on the previous version and will not update again until problem is fixed. All ideas for a fix are welcome.

Did you try Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? What security software are you running? If you're running a Pro version of Windows, try this and test the new version again. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/

Tried everything except the sandbox. I have 2 laptops running identical programs (used for different projects). Only difference is, one is running W10 and the other W11. W10 freezes but W11 hasn't missed a beat since the update. W10 is working fine without the update and that's what I'm using for this conversation (thank you whoever invented the restore to a previous time system). I'm prepared to not update the W10 until Mozilla comes up with a solution.

So Win10 is pro? If so, waiting on Sandbox test.

How is Mozilla going to come up with a solution to something you have told them nothing about. The forum is full of other users crashing in Windows and Mac. Let stay focused please... Win10 is a laptop or desktop? What make and model? I'm also on Win10 and not having the same issues.
