Almost every site I go to with Firefox I get a "Warning This site has been reported as phishing". It can be a .gov site, a state DMV, or almost 90% of the sites I go to. How do I stop this other than to start using Chrome all the time, which I do not have this issue?

Are you using a proxy or VPN?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
