Unable to load any websites

Since 13th August I have been unable to access any websites using Firefox. All websites I've tried load correctly with Google Chrome.

This is the error code displayed: Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

I have not updated Firefox recently, though my Kaspersky Anti-Virus software updates constantly, so I thought it might be that. However, disabling the Anti-Virus and/or their firewall has no effect.

I have tried all the steps shown on the support page without success. I do not use a proxy server, and I am using Windows 10 Home.

I have now ascertained that it actually IS Kaspersky that is causing the problem, though that hasn't helped me overcome it.

I have followed advice regarding importing certificates, and also checked Kaspersky to make sure Mozilla/Firefox is trusted (they are), so I'm no further forward.

Chosen Solution

Perfect, that's sorted it.

Once I'd isolated the problem as being Kaspersky, I thought I might be better served on their forum, but how wrong I was. The answer was on there obviously, but it was very kind of you to find it for me. Saved me another load of searching today.

Cheers.
