On a certain webpage the shield icon is crossed out and tracking protection is disabled. I enable it myself, but after a while it becomes disabled again. I am not logged in to the site. What is going on?

There could be a few potential reasons why this is happening.

One possibility is that the website is using technology to detect and disable ad-blocking or tracking protection extensions. Some websites are able to detect these extensions and prevent them from working, either by altering the website's code or by using other techniques. This is often done as a way to ensure that visitors are exposed to ads, which generate revenue for the site.

Another possibility is that there is some other software or extension on your computer that is interfering with your tracking protection. For example, some anti-virus software or browser extensions can conflict with tracking protection, causing it to be disabled or not work properly.

Lastly, it's possible that the tracking protection settings are not being saved properly, which could be caused by a bug or glitch in the browser. If this is the case, you might want to try resetting your browser settings or using a different browser to see if the issue persists.

In any case, if you're concerned about your privacy and want to prevent tracking, you may want to consider using a more robust solution, such as a virtual private network (VPN) or privacy-focused browser.

I'm using the latest version of the app on Android 13, so it can't be antivirus or a browser extension. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Must be a bug then?
