Since the update a few days ago, Firefox is crashing and some sites such as Trust Pilot, do not work at all on Firefox. I know it is Firefox because it works fine with Chrome. Even Google Search does not work right.

What is the problem?

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

This is the only one that submitted. But the bigger problem is sites that don't work right. Example--Trust Pilot. I could only log in on Chrome -- got an error with Firefox & cannot log in. Screenshot of error will not copy to this post. Says 'Unexpected error. Please try again' Cannot log in with Firefox at all.

Crash is fixed in 111.0.1. How can we reproduce the issue with Trust Pilot?

None of this works. After yesterday's most recent update - I can no longer load YouTube in Firefox. It says I am offline and have no connection.

I am online, have a connection and can load YouTube fine on Chrome. I am using a Mac. I cleared the cache and cookies.

I don't know what is going on with Firefox, but it is actually reaching the point I cannot use it. Microsoft News has big blank boxes, booking.com keeps giving me "Ooops" errors & now no YouTube at all.

Nobody in Support can help it appears.

Are you using a proxy or VPN?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

You can do a malware scan just to be sure.
