Dear Staff,

I received an email saying my email, passwords, etc. may have been compromised. Info links said I should first change email and passwords.

When I try to connect to google to change my password, it says Mozilla won't allow. Please advise. Mike

Are you using a proxy or VPN?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

I'm using vpn; proxy is off. What now? Mike

Are you able to proceed and change the password if you use a direct connection (i.e. disable the VPN) ?
