I installed thunderbird on my PC and created my email account (working fine on my laptop). Receiving mails fine. But can't send. Message box says, "The message could not be sent because connecting to outgoing server (Smtp) exchange.onlinehosting.co.za failed.........."

I have followed all the steps suggested to resolve this. Firewall and anti-virus are disabled. Problem persists.

I changed the security strength from 3 to 1 (config).

Still no joy.

Hello there Graig’s 4. We have read your message. We try to help you.

Oké you cannot send messages. Mostly the advice is put out your anti virus software.

Add-ons can you turn them off and on to check them for issues? Try them in safe modus to influence them?

You can send me a picture of your Smtp settings you can attach them. So I can look at your issue.

Verify that your outgoing e-mail is not blocked by your firewall, antivirus software, or your Internet service provider: Try disabling both the antivirus and firewall software briefly, sending a test e-mail, re-enabling them, and another test. to send email.
