I have version 97.0.1 (64-bit), Win 11

I can't find a way to move the address/url bar to the top.

Can't see that anyone else is able to find a solution either.

How do I do it?

As you know, the built-in order is:

  • Title (optional)
  • Menu bar (optional)
  • Tabs
  • Main toolbar including the address bar and other buttons
  • Bookmarks toolbar (optional)

Are you trying to move the address bar out of the main toolbar into a higher bar, or move the tabs to a lower position, or... what exactly?

All of that would involve a userChrome.css file, so if you don't get quick help here due to other emergencies, the community over at the following subreddit could help: https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/

i am trying to move the tabs lower.

I don't have a userChrome.css file which I can create but honestly I have no idea what to put into it.
