After starting PC and /or laptop clicking Firefox on taskbar fails. OK after re-start but re-occurs if closed. Have been opening several Firefox blank Tabs to use that day. (Whilst trying to remmeber not to close them all: otherwise back to Re-start PC). Is this anothe dastadly trick from Microsoft Edge? I hate it!

Could this be relevant? A couple of other users identified Webroot (security software) as blocking 64-bit Firefox 97 -- released today -- from running properly: If you are still running an earlier release of Firefox, this would not be your issue.

After consulting with WebRoot, they advised this was a known issue. The fix was to remove and reinstalled the WebRoot application.
