redirected windows do not run

Lately when I click on a CNN article and am redirected to the article window, the window appears and the article does not "run" even when I select play. This has happened on other sites. When I use Chrome I have no problem with the redirected window.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
