Missing custom DNS option on iOS app

Hi there,

I recently downloaded the updated iOS app that is supposed to have the option to set custom DNS in the settings. I looked at the documentation for this as well and I cannot find the option anywhere in the app. I reviewed all available options in the app settings with no success.

Could you please advise? I am running iOS 15.

Hey there,

Custom DNS did not make it to iOS with our recent 2.5.0 patch. There will be a 2.5.1 release which will include custom DNS for iOS devices, you should expect this update by the week of October 04.

Custom DNS did not make it to iOS with our recent 2.5.0 patch. There will be a 2.5.1 release which will include custom DNS for iOS devices, you should expect this update by the week of October 04.

Thank you for confirming. I guess the release notes were incorrect. I’m waiting for this so I can use the AdGuard ad-blocking DNS without needing to rely on AdGuard explicitly.
