can't log into Thunderbird
A few weeks ago Thunderbird crashed and I saw that a crash report file was generated and supposedly sent to you. as of today I have not heard anything. The problem being that I cannot set up my existing mail address per the set-up operation within Thunderbird. After trying to setup the email address and enter done I get the messages "Send of password for user GVHANSON did not succeed" and "mail server pop.verizon.net responded: (SYS/TEMP) sever error Please try again later" The protocol in that window is: Incoming: POP3 pop.verizon.net SSL - Outgoing SMTP stmtp.verizon.net SSL So far I have tried everything in your help system files to no avail. I have re-installed the program 3 different times, the last being after I had tried to get rid of anything on the drive that look like it had something to do with Thunderbird. BTW, before I reinstalled the program there was another email account using the same Thunderbird that I can't use. That email ran perfectly with no problems. I have tried it on my other laptop and get the same thing, ditto for my old Windows 7 laptop. So, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, GVHANSON@verizon.net
