New Messages Disappearing.

I'm 90.0b3 (64-bit) Thunderbird.

The other day a new message disappeared right before my eyes but I thought it a fluke and it was the second or third time it had happend. Maybe I clicked something. Right? No.

But just now it happened again while I was watching the screen. An unread message simply disappeared and is no where to be found. Unfortunately it's one I was just about to respond to, one that was *important* so... what's going on? Am I the only person experiencing this? and if not, how can I make sure it doesn't happen again?

Why are you using pre release software might be a good place to start here. Thew release version is 78. There is a version 90 beta, and while it is still more stable than daily builds it is pre release and feature may appear and disappear between builds.

Is the account configured as IMAP or POP? Most complaining about disappearing mail use imap and fail to understand that the deletion on their phone is synchronized everywhere.
