Make sure you are Saving the file and not Viewing it.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.

Make sure you are Saving the file and not Viewing it.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.

You get tabs opening endlessly if you select Firefox as the application to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog.

You will have to remove this action.
