bookmark sidebar disappeared and no option to restore

This morning I closed my bookmarks sidebar to frame open windows better. Now there is no option to restore it. Help please, as this is my best organization for web browsing. Thank you!

Can't you toggle the bookmarks sidebar via "Ctrl + B" ?

Did you try to open a new window or close and restart Firefox ?

There also is a "Sidebar" button for the toolbar that will re-open the last sidebar you used. Looks like: . If you don't see that one and you would like to add it, check out: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Note that in Firefox 87 some menus have been reorganized and some items were removed and others rearranged. This includes the removal of the "Bookmarking Tools" sub menu with "View Bookmarks Sidebar". There is still the "View -> Toolbars" sub menu.
